Our History
Orero Boys Secondary School was established in 1968 and sits along the Kisii–Homa Bay Road in Rangwe, Homa Bay County. Over the decades it has grown into a high-performing extra-county school, now home to a population of more than 1,800 students drawn from across the region and beyond.
What was built as a single institution on the road between two counties has become a boarding community defined by structure and expectation — boys arrive to be shaped academically, morally and socially, guided by a motto the school has never let go of: Education Empowers.
